THE ARTT – Lisbon Boutique Apartments has been awarded the 2025 National Urban Rehabilitation Award in the Best Sustainability Solution category. Promoted by Vida Imobiliária, this award is a benchmark in the sector, recognizing projects that stand out for their excellence in urban rehabilitation in Portugal. This year’s edition featured an independent jury that included representatives from ADENE – the Portuguese Energy Agency, highlighting a strong emphasis on environmental best practices and energy efficiency.

Located in Campolide, Lisbon, THE ARTT is the result of the rehabilitation of a 1920s building and stands out for its integration of innovative solutions in sustainability and energy efficiency.
The project features the use of environmentally certified materials and Environmental Product Declarations, as well as achieving an A+ Energy Certification, with equally A+-rated windows. These measures ensure high levels of thermal comfort and a significant reduction in energy consumption.
The AQUA+ A-rated Water Certification underscores the project’s commitment to efficient water management, further supported by the installation of ANQIP-labeled sanitary equipment that promotes the rational use of water.
Heating and domestic hot water systems are powered by high-efficiency heat pumps, while mechanical ventilation with heat recovery enhances indoor air quality and overall building energy performance.
With a focus on sustainable urban mobility, the building includes charging infrastructure for electric bicycles and scooters. It is also equipped with a photovoltaic system for renewable energy production, climate-adapted green spaces that promote biodiversity and urban comfort, and smart energy automation systems that optimize resource consumption.
Classified as a NZEB (Nearly Zero Energy Building), THE ARTT is more than a rehabilitation project — it is a tangible example of how it is possible to create sophisticated, efficient, and environmentally responsible housing, aligned with contemporary challenges and a sustainable vision for the future.
Project and construction management were led by P2S PROJECT, with architectural design by Pais Ministro Partners and development by Ground Floor – Premium Investments.
We thank all those who contributed to this achievement!
